Applying for Temporary Use, Community Activity and Building Pemits

Our goal is to assist you with your permit needs as quickly and friendly as possible. From pre-submittal meetings to inspections to certificates of occupancy, we are responsible for all occurances needing permits within the Town Of Kentwood.

To make the permitting process as efficient as possible, we've created checklists of submittal requirements for Residential, Commercial, Industrial and Building permits.

Permitting Department is also responsible for scheduling inspections for issued permits. To schedule an inspection, call (985) 229-3451 by 4:00 pm.

If seeking same day inspection, call by 11am to check inspectors availability.
